Turning our studio into a classroom to showcase COVID testing for schools

We recently worked with Concentric by Ginkgo Bioworks to photograph and film their pool COVID testing process.

Concentric’s goal is to provide easy, affordable pooled COVID testing for every school in America. Their approach dramatically lowers costs without sacrificing accuracy. Copper Hound Pictures was tapped to bring the Concentric product and process to life through photo and film.

Several weeks after we spent a day shooting on location in Salem, MA, we recreated a classroom in our East Boston studio. With the help of Boston prop stylist Suzanne Lee, we were able to turn our shooting space into a true day-in-the-life scholastic environment populated with kids, a teacher, and all the furniture and accessories that represent a true grammar school setting.

We learned a lot more about COVID testing during this shoot, and along the way were able to showcase our ability to recreate realistic environments in our own space, while ensuring a controlled and safe environment.

What can we build for your organization?
