Runway for Recovery - Celebrating 19 years of inspiration and impact

On October 3rd, Copper Hound Pictures had the privilege of capturing the sights, sounds, and emotions of Runway for Recovery’s 19th annual Runway Show in Boston. Each year, this signature evening celebrates lives impacted by breast cancer, and supports the families who need it most.

During the evening, survivors, thrivers, and those honoring loved ones impacted by the disease shine brightly as they dance down the runway, filling the room with positivity, hope, and courage.  

This year’s event was especially meaningful for us. Among the honorees was Tim Llewellyn, who received the Bill Achtmeyer High Five Award in recognition of his leadership and longstanding support of Runway’s mission.

Runway for Recovery’s mission is to walk alongside families through their breast cancer journeys, providing financial relief, emotional support, and community. Through Runway’s Family Grant Program, for example, money raised helps families cover essentials when illness makes life harder.
